Mark started his career in physical therapy as a physical therapist assistant. He
graduated from Washburn University's PTA program in 2000. He worked at a
combination inpatient/outpatient hospital for five years as a practicing
therapist honing his skills. After receiving his Bachelor’s degree from Washburn
University in 2003 in Physical Education with an emphasis in Physical Therapy,
he desired further training and greater responsibility in the rehabilitation
process. He applied and was accepted to the second Doctorate level physical
therapy class at the University of Kansas Medical Center. During his time there,
he had clinical experiences in a variety of physical therapy settings ranging
from long-term care to sports rehabilitation. He received his Doctorate degree
from KUMC in May 2008.
He feels his greatest strengths as a therapist include outpatient orthopedics,
general neurological rehabilitation, and an honest desire to help patients meet their rehabilitation goals.
He has been with Summit Strength Physical Therapy since May of 2008.
