Scott G. Knoche, PT, Dip. MDT, CSCS, CPT

Scott has been a state licensed Physical Therapist (PT) in Missouri since 1987. He graduated with honors in Physical Therapy from the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Health Professions. In 1990, Scott earned a Certification in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (MDT). Six years later, he earned the Diploma (Dip.) in MDT of the spine from the McKenzie Institute International. He has been a guest lecturer for the University of Missouri-Columbia and the University of Kansas School of Physical Therapy. Scott has participated in several research studies for the treatment of the spine through The University of Texas-El Paso and The State University of New York in Syracuse. Scott has received his Certification as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and Personal Trainer (CPT) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. In 2001, Scott founded Summit Strength Physical Therapy. Summit Strength has grown into a well-known local and regional physical therapy clinic and also serves as a large training facility for students progressing in their physical therapy careers. Tom McCarthy, PT, DPT, Cert. MDT

Tom completed both his undergraduate and Doctorate of Physical Therapy training at Creighton University in Omaha. He has been practicing physical therapy in the Kansas City area for over 20 years. Additionally, Tom has received advanced training in the McKenzie method to physical therapy and is Certified in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (Cert. MDT). Tom is proficient in Spanish and able to provide a full range of PT services to Spanish speaking patients. He lives in Lee’s Summit with his wife and four sons. Abby Seider, PT, DPT, Cert. MDT

Abby received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Rockhurst University and her undergraduate from UMKC where she majored in psychology and minored in Spanish. She has received advanced training in the McKenzie method to physical therapy and is Certified in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (Cert. MDT). Abby is able to treat Spanish speaking patients. She grew up in Lee’s Summit and was active in basketball, golf, track and playing the violin. She enjoys exercising, being outside, fishing and spending time with her husband, two boys and dog. Paige Burau, PT, DPT, Cert. MDT

Paige graduated from the University of Kansas with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. She received her undergraduate degree in Health Promotion from Emporia State University where she played on the women’s volleyball team all four years. She is certified by the Geriatrics Champions Program through KU. Paige is a Lee’s Summit native and graduated from Lee’s Summit West High School. Now, she is the Head Junior Varsity Volleyball Coach and also the Varsity Assistant Coach. Paige enjoys going to Chiefs games, traveling, working out and spending time with family and friends. Chris Binns, PT, DPT, Cert. MDT

Chris graduated from the University of Kansas with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. He earned his undergraduate degree at William Jewell where he played soccer for the collegiate team. He grew up in Overland Park and his wife is a dentist practicing in the Kansas City area. Chris enjoys watching the Chiefs, Sporting KC, traveling with his family and playing sports. Taylor Marsters, PT, DPT, Cert. MDT

Taylor received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree and her undergraduate degree in Exercise Science from Carroll University in Wisconsin. In college, Taylor was on the Women’s Cross Country and Track and Field teams. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, hiking, being active and trying new modes of fitness with friends and family. Brennan Lashbrook, PT, DPT, Cert. MDT

Brennan graduated from Rockhurst University with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy. He earned his undergraduate degree at Missouri State University. Ben Moser, PT, DPT

Ben earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Northern Illinois University. He earned his undergraduate in Human Physiology at The University of Iowa. Upon graduation, he practiced outpatient physical therapy in Chicago. He and his wife relocated to the Kansas City area but continue to cheer on the Chicago Bears. Cory graduated from Rockhurst University with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. He earned his undergraduate degree in Athletic Training at Graceland University. Cory played four years of varsity soccer while attending Graceland and was also the Men’s Soccer Assistant Coach/Varsity Reserve Head Coach. Josh Braselton, PT, DPT, Dip. MDT, OCS

Chandra Moore, PTA

Chandra received her Physical Therapy Assistant license through Penn Valley Community College. Chandra works closely with our physical therapists to provide aggressive therapies to progress the patient. Chandra is LSVT Big Certified helping patients with Parkinson’s Disease and other neurological conditions. Being from Lee’s Summit, she enjoys cheering on the Royals. Tamara Williams, PTA

Tami received her Physical Therapy Assistant license through Penn Valley Community College. Ella Hackney, PTA

Ella began her career in secondary education, and has worked in physical therapy for more than 25 years. Her experience includes pediatrics, acute care in a hospital setting, home health care and outpatient rehabilitation. She enjoys working with a wide range of conditions including neurological issues and orthopedic rehabilitation. Ella enjoys spending time with her grandchildren.
